NH Beach Maternity Session

When P & B reached out to me and shared their NH beach maternity session inspo with me I was so excited! They planned to use these photos to announce the upcoming arrival of their summer baby. We lucked out with an unusually warm February afternoon for their beach maternity session – I could not believe how beautiful the weather was for this time of year! We had the best time talking and taking photos.

Throughout the session we were trying to brainstorm a creative way to add “baby boy” somewhere in their photos. We played around with a few options – writing it in the sand, using rocks, shells, seaweed, etc. But just didn’t love any of them decided to keep photographing while we each thought of ideas.

Josh tagged along on this session intending to walk along the beach but after hearing us brainstorm, he instead surprised us by collecting pieces of driftwood to spell out the “baby boy” for us! It was such a creative idea and we all loved how it turned out. Utilizing the environment/location and the elements it provides is one of my favorite ways to add uniqueness to each gallery so this was right up my alley.
